Maui hosts world class resorts, exciting activities such as sailing, eco-tours, shopping, ziplining, wine tasting, farm tours and so much more. The island also boasts championship golf all surrounded by natural beauty, including many of Maui’s incredible beaches.  

Most visitors will arrive at Kahului airport in Central Maui. This is where most of the population of Maui lives and there is plenty of attractions to be found. The top attraction in Central Maui is the peaceful Lao Valley State Park, with stunning forests, lush valleys and bubbling streams. Take an easy hike on a paved trail to view one of Maui’s most iconic landmarks, the 1,200 foot Lao Needle.

The Hana highway is a popular attraction. The journey is as important as the destination. The Hana highway links around the whole island like a figure of 8. It allows visitors to see everything the island has to offer, with giant waterfalls, artist hamlets and rainbows along the way.

Lahaina once Maui’s whaling port is now a picture perfect town with lively nightspots. This is the perfect place to pick up souvenirs and t shirts along Front Street. You can park the car and walk the historic tour away from the masses and learn about the great history of this little town.

Maui has some of the best beaches in Hawaii. West Maui offers a number of great beaches scattered between resorts. Kaanapali beach is widely regarded as one of the best beaches on Maui. Great for activities such as snorkeling and volleyball. South Maui features the famous duo of Big Beach and Little Beach. East Maui offers few beaches along the Hana highway but makes up for it with a beautiful black sand beach at Waianapanapa State Park. 

Other renowned beaches include Keawakapu beach, Kapalua beach close to the whaling town of Lahaina, Kahekili beach an extension of Kaanapali beach, and lastly Napili Bay perfect for swimming with the family.
